Frequently asked questions
Planning your event
Do guests have to take their photo at the event?
No. Guests can upload any suitable photo already saved on their phone, whether it was taken at the event or sometime earlier.
Does Magnet Pics photograph the guests?
No. Our packages do not include photography. Guests take and upload their own photos or upload an existing camera-roll photo. The optional backdrop provides a designated photo area but is not a staffed professional photography service.
What happens if we need more magnets?
For each magnet above your package quantity amount, we charge an additional $1 per magnet, which will be billed following your event. Onsite additions may be possible but depend on supplies, staffing, and the scheduled service time.
Can we add more onsite time?
Yes. Additional service time may be added to your quote when scheduling permits. We charge $100 for each additional hour you need beyond what your selected package offers. Let us know your event timeline when submitting your inquiry.
What if my event is more than 50 miles away?
Travel is included for venues located within a 50-mile radius of Farmington, Utah. For venues beyond that area, travel is charged at $1.00 per additional mile, calculated round trip. Parking, tolls, lodging, or other unusual travel expenses may be quoted separately when applicable.
How much space and access do you need?
For magnet production only, we generally require a space of roughly 8'x8'. When you add the optional event photo backdrop, we would need an additional area of roughly 10'x10'. We also require access to electrical power, and reliable internet or cellular connectivity. Exact venue needs will be confirmed before booking.
How far in advance should we book?
Earlier is always better, especially for weekends and popular wedding dates. Your date is not reserved until the booking requirements and applicable payment terms have been completed.
